Given that almost all modern schoolwear is manufactured and often badged overseas (much of it in the Indian Sub-continent and the Far East) it’s vital that our suppliers and theirs adhere to the highest ethical and sustainability standards.
We ensure this is the case by only using reputable wholesalers – unlike some schoolwear retailers we never buy directly from factories overseas because it’s impossible to remotely monitor their standards in vital areas such as ethical employment, thus ensuring no child or forced labour is ever used. Quality control is also impossible to monitor from the other side of the world.
Our suppliers and their overseas suppliers are members of Sedex, which monitors the four major pillars of Labour standards, Health & Safety, Environmental and Business Ethics.
Many of the products we sell including all our blazers are made from recyclable fabrics and several of our blazer suppliers plant a tree for every blazer we order!
